How confirmation works
This tracker only lists involvements we can point at. “Confirmed” here means citeable, not “will ship on a radio station at launch.” Promo audio is not a full soundtrack announcement.
01 / Official promo
Heard in publisher-posted video
A track or artist is heard in a Rockstar-published Trailer 1, Trailer 2, or Extended Look (Rockstar YouTube, Netflix premiere, or other official Rockstar channel).
We prefer the Rockstar video as the first source. Identification of which song it is comes from that video plus reputable secondaries: Polygon’s Extended Look list, Music Ally, GTA Wiki’s trailer notes, and NME for Trailer 2. We do not treat fan compilations or unnamed Discord IDs as enough on their own.
Current promo set: Trailer 1 (1 track), Trailer 2 (5 tracks), Extended Look (14 IDs from Polygon, matching IGN). A few titles (Captain & Tennille; the exact “Se Me Nota” billing) are kept as the outlets printed them, with a note.
Where a row has a verified cueSeconds value, Play starts the embedded
Rockstar YouTube upload at that timestamp. Cues are checked against the YouTube cut (not
the Netflix premiere). Trailer 1 uses the GTA Wiki scene transcript; Trailer 2 uses
community timestamps aligned with GTAVice.net; Extended Look uses a timestamp list
spot-checked on Rockstar’s YouTube upload. Extended Look is age-restricted, so this site
links out to YouTube at the cue instead of embedding the player.
02 / Rockstar-named
Named by Rockstar staff
Rockstar staff named the artist in an interview. There may be no specific track. That is still a stronger statement than a fan rumor, and weaker than hearing the record in a trailer.
Source of record: Rupert Humphries, SVP of narrative, in Dazed (also quoted by Music Ally). Kodak Black and Sexyy Red are named that way and appear as promo audio in separate rows. Real Dimez are an in-universe duo, not a real-world act.
03 / Artist-reported
Claims that still need a primary link
The artist, or a verified channel they control, claims involvement. The row must link a primary source: their own post, a label post they control, or an interview they gave. Until that URL exists, the row sits under “Awaiting primary source.”
Aggregators (including @videotech) are discovery only. News stories that paraphrase an Instagram screenshot are still secondary. They can stay as breadcrumbs; they do not graduate the row.
Artist-reported is not Rockstar-verified. The UI says so.
What stays off the list
- Anonymous leaks and “trust me” Discord lists
- Unnamed radio-station rumors
- Tracks heard only in unofficial recuts
- Joan Jett / other disputed Trailer 2 IDs that GTA Wiki does not carry as the five-song set

Copyright limits
- No lyrics
- No pasted copyrighted bios
- At most one or two factual sentences per artist, with a citeable URL
- Track titles and artist names are listed
